is hi 8 tapes accepted in festivals

i know that festivals want vhs then u send ur 35mm or dv tape also but is it possible they accept hi8 tape recorded on it by trv740 digital8 thx for u r help here

Ya. It a Hi8 or even 8mm tape should be the same relatively as long as the footage on it was recorded in Digital8.

I may be wrong but i think that there are a couple of festivals devoted exclusively to Hi8. If not, there are at least some who have exclusive Hi8 entry groups. good luck.
